You will be picked up from your cruise ship for your private shore excursion of Palermo.
The tour will begin with a panoramic drive through this wonderful historic city. You will view some of the most amazing monuments such as the Teatro Poiteama, Teatro Massimo, the Quattro Canti, the Royal Palace and Piazza Pretoria.
The tour will then bring you to some of the most interesting and unusual sites of the city. You will visit the Catacombs of the Capuchin Friars where you will view the more than 8000 mummified bodies of monks, noblemen and citizens dressed in their original 15th centrury clothes.
The tour continues to the Palazzo Chiaramonte Steri, built in 1307 by the wealthy and powerful Chiaramonte family. Lo Steri became the residence of the Spanish viceroys and in the 17th century was the seat of the Tribunal of the Inquisition. It is still possible today to see the writings, drawings, and paintings of the nameless victims who were imprisoned here after their trial.

2) We send you a Proposal
Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.
3) You like what you see!
Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.
4) Buon viaggio!
Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.
The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
