Transfer by private motor launch to the Canneragio Canal. Here you will visit the medieval Jewish Ghetto. The Ghetto is the first in Europe and was instituted in 1516 by the Government of the Serenissima Repubblica. Here, the Jews were confined to the area from sunset to dawn. Today there are only a few Jewish families in the Ghetto but the ethnic flavor of the neighbourhood remains. You will visit the area with a private local Jewish guide and your tour will include one of the synagogues . Return to your ship after the tour.
