Rome and Sorrento

Day 5: Rome - Pompeii - Sorrento

After check-out today your English-speaking driver will meet you again for your transfer to Sorrento.

On the way to Rome you will stop to visit the ruins of the ancient city of Pompeii. The city was buried under a thick layer of ash and pumice after the eruption of nearby Mount Vesuvius in 79 A.D., a disaster that nevertheless preserved the contents of Pompeii with fascinating precision. Entrance fees to the archaeological site are included and a private guide will be arranged to give you a tour of the ruins.

The driver will drop you off at your next hotel in Sorrento at the end of the day.

Day 6: Sorrento - Amalfi Coast

Your English-speaking driver will pick you up from the hotel this morning for your full-day excursion along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. You will make stops in three of the delightful towns nestled in its bays: Positano, an elegant and colorful town with a history of attracting celebrities and artists; Amalfi, a picturesque seaside resort that is also the largest town on the coast; and Ravello, the highest town on the coast where the photo opportunities are unmatchable.

The driver will return you to your hotel in Sorrento at the end of the day.

Day 7: Capri

Today your private guide will escort you on a full-day excursion to the Isle of Capri.

Thanks to the cobalt sea that surrounds the island, the fragrance of flowers, and the delicate slashes of color in its landscape, Capri is considered the jewel of the Mediterranean sea. The return transfer from your hotel to the Sorrento harbor, the hydrofoil to Capri and a private car in Capri are included.

Day 8: Departure

After check-out from the hotel, our representative will pick you up for your private transfer to the Naples Airport to catch your departing flight.
