4-Star Hotel: Terminus - Como
(or similar star rating hotel)

After breakfast this morning, your local guide will meet you at the hotel to take you on a full day tour on the lake.
Traveling by boat (public ferry and hydrofoil), you will have the opportunity to see the lavish villas that dot the shoreline of the lake; holiday homes to the Italian nobility of the past as well as the wealthy socialites of the present. You will stop at Bellagio for a chance to stroll down the streets of this famous lakeside retreat, and perhaps visit a local restaurant to sample the region’s typical cuisine.
In the afternoon, you will return to Como by hydrofoil for a short visit of the city. Take the funicular to Brunate where you will have an astonishing view of Lake Como. Return to the town center and end your tour at the Duomo.
Your assistant and driver will pick you up from the hotel upon check-out this
morning for your private excursion to Canton Ticino Switzerland and Lugano Lake.
You will visit the towns of Ticino, Campione d’Italia, and Lugano.
Ticino sits on the southern slope of the central Alps, bordering on Italy. Largely a mountainous region, Ticino embraces the Ticino River valley and part of Lago Maggiore and of the Lake of Lugano. Ticino is noted for its resorts, particularly Locarno and Lugano; It has been said that Campione d'Italia, the tiny town in Lombardy lying in an enclave in Switzerland, is like an air bubble in a sheet of glass.
Lugano is by far the most alluring of Ticino’s lake resorts, much less of a tourist-trap than Locarno and double the chic. Set on a south-facing bay of the cerulean blue Lago di Lugano, its lake vistas are astonishing – the city is framed on all sides by wooded, sugar-loaf hills rising from the water that have led to its being dubbed the “Rio of the Old World”.
Both Monte Brè to the northeast and San Salva the south are served by funiculars, and both give spectacular views over to the snow-capped Alps.
Your driver will pick you up from the hotel upon check-out this morning for your
private transfer from Bellagio to Verona.
On the way, you will stop to visit Sirmione – the "Pearl of Lake Garda". At the end of the 19th century, sulphurous spring water from the depths of the lake were connected to the town by pipeline, allowing the development of its now popular spa retreats. Enjoy some free time to explore the town on your own, before rejoining your driver and continuing on to Verona and your accommodations.
