Day 1 - Milan

Upon arrival at the Milan airport ,you will be greeted by our representative outside of the arrivals hall. You will be escorted to your private car and driver for your transfer to your luxury accommodations in Milan.Balance of the day free to enjoy on your own.

Day 2 - Milan

Your guide and driver will pick you up from the hotel this morning to take you on a half day tour of some of the major sights of the city. The Duomo, Milan's cathedral, one of the largest churches in the world, is a surprisingly elegant mass of marble boasting 135 spires and 3,400 statues. The building began life as a Gothic cathedral, but over the centuries, the designs went through several modifications, and the finished Duomo is a strange mixture of styles. Your guide will take you through the church and right up to the roof, from which you can enjoy an up close look at the building's unique architecture and incredible views of the city. From the Duomo, you will continue to the Galleria: Milan's famous shopping arcade that features the biggest names in fashion.

Day 3 - Milan

A free day for shopping or sightseeing on your own.

Day 4 - Milan to Como

After breakfast and check out from your hotel you will be transferred by private car to Lake Como, a jewel-like oasis of tranquility combining lush Mediterranean foliage and snowy alpine peaks. Your stay at the world renowned Villa D'Este will ensure that your experience will be magical.

Day 5 - Lake Como Tour

A picture perfect day awaits you as you start your tour of this stunning lake with your private guide. Traveling by boat (public ferry and hydrofoil), you will have the opportunity to see the lavish villas that dot the shoreline of the lake; holiday homes to the Italian nobility of the past as well as the rich and famous of the present, among which George Clooney is one of the more popular.You will stop at Bellagio for a chance to stroll down the streets of this famous lakeside retreat, and perhaps visit a local restaurant to sample the region's typical cuisine. In the afternoon, return to Como by hydrofoil for a short visit of the city where you will climb to the village of Brunate by funicular. From here, 500 M(1640 ft) above the lake you will enjoy an astonishing view. Return to the town centre and end your tour at the Duomo.

Day 6 - Lugano, Como

Your driver will pick you up from the hotel for your full day excursion to Canton of Ticino and Lake Lugano, Switzerland. You will visit the towns of Lugano, Locarno and Lake Maggiore.Ticino is Switzerland's only Italian speaking Canton. The areas around its two lakes, Lago di Lugano and Lago Maggiore, enjoy a distinct Mediterranean climate where palms and citrus trees grow; figs, olives and vineyards are cultivated, and other tropical vegetation flourishes. The architecture throughout Ticino is Renaissance and Baroque, and the atmosphere is very Italian. Your first stop will be Lugano with its winding cobblestone streets and great shopping areas. Continue to Locarno and its famous Piazza Grande where locals and tourists mingle in its wonderful cafes and restaurants. Then it's on to the heart of the lake district and the glacial lake Maggiore. After your scenic day of sightseeing, return to your accommodations in Como.

Day 7 - Departure

After checking out of your hotel, depart for your onward travel. Transfers can be arranged for travel to your next point or the airport or rail station...or add another one of our programs to your itinerary.

2) We send you a Proposal

Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.

3) You like what you see!

Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.

4) Buon viaggio!

Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.

The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
