The tour starts with your arrival in Venice. Upon your arrival in the Venice Airport, our local representative will be
waiting to greet you. You will be transferred by private boat to your hotel.
The balance of this first day in Venice is at leisure. Relax after your trip,
or begin to explore the sights of this extraordinary city.
4-Star Hotel: Duodo Palace
(or similar star rating hotel)
This morning, your private English-speaking guide will meet you at the hotel
for your Venice tour. Venice's charm lies both in its unique civil engineering
achievements, and in the harmony of Eastern and Western artistic styles that have
flourished here over the centuries. Your tour highlights some of the major sites that
define the look and history of Venice, and includes visits to Doges' Palace
(entrance fees included), St. Mark's Basilica and St. Mark's Square.
After check-out from your hotel this morning your driver will transfer you to the rail station for your train from Venice to Florence. You will have first-class rail tickets with seat reservations. The tour will take two and a half hours on the comfortable Eurostar train.
Upon arrival in Florence you will be met by our representative, who will take you by private car to your hotel. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy.

This morning your English-speaking guide will meet you at your hotel to take you
on a private walking tour of the city.
Florence's rich past as the cultural
center of the Italian Renaissance can still be seen today in the wealth of art
gathered here, and in the preservation of its splendid architecture. The tour
includes visits of the Duomo and the Baptistry, the Piazza della Signori, the Ponte
Vecchio, and the famous Accademia Gallery (entrance fees included). Reservations
can also be made for you at the Uffizi Gallery in the afternoon, where you can
view the famous art collection of the Medici.
Today your English-speaking driver will pick you up at the hotel for a full-day
excursion into the celebrated Chianti Wine Region, an area as much renowned for
its natural beauty as for its excellent wines. A stop at a local winery for a
tour of the cellars and a wine tasting can be arranged if desired. You will then
continue on to Siena for a chance to stroll its winding streets and see the Piazza
del Campo, where the Palio race is held every year.
Your driver will drop you off at your next accommodations in the evening.
4-Star Hotel: Borgo San Felice (or similar star rating hotel).
In the morning you will be transferred from the Chianti to Sorrento. Your day tour will take you through the Umbrian countryside where you will
stop in Orvieto, a unique hill town famous for its Etruscan ruins as well as its Gothic
cathedral and the excellent wines preserved in its underground cellars. You will then
continue to Sorrento and check-in to your hotel.
