Sunny Italy - Small Group

Day 1 - Friday - Arrival

Arrive at Rome Airport. After collecting your luggage and passport formalities, make your way to your hotel in the center of Rome.       Balance of day at leisure.

Day 2 - Saturday - Vatican

You will be transferred from your hotel to the Vatican museum.  You will not have to wait in line to enter as you will have a reserved time.  Inside the museum you will visit the vast collection of art set in various rooms and galleries.  Included is a visit of the famous Sistine Chapel and the Basilica of Saint Peter.  You will also be able to marvel at the incredible Piazza of  Saint Peter.   Rest of your day will be at leisure.  In the evening a dinner at a local restaurant will be included.

Day 3 - Sunday - Ancient Rome

After a free morning you will meet your tour group for your visit of the Imperial Roman Forum and the Colosseum.  After the tour you will be free and in the later you will enjoy an true Roman experience, dinner in a typical trattoria.

Day 4 - Monday - Pompeii, Sorrento

This morning you will be transferred to Sorrento. On the way you will stop at the amazing archeological site of Pompeii. After your visit of the site you wil continue to Sorrento. A delicious lunch will be included in a typical trattoria. After lunch your local host will discuss your program in Sorrento. This evening a dinner at a local restaurant in the scenic center of Sorrento is included.Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 5 - Tuesday - Capri

Today you will visit the famous Isle of Capri. This beautiful Island has inspired poets and artists throughout the ages and was a favorite holiday spot for the Roman Emperors.Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 6 - Wednesday - Sorrento

A free day in Sorrento to explore on your own. Your local host will provide a list of optional tours that may be interesting to you. You will also have an opportunity to reserve in advance optional excursions when booking this tour. Overnight in Sorrento.

Day 7 - Thursday - Amalfi Coast

Today you will enjoy a drive along the breathtaking Amalfi Coast. This amazing stretch of winding road with its cliffs, lemon and olive groves and small villages is a Unesco World Heritage site. Return to Sorrento where in the evening a farewell dinner in a panoramic restaurant will be included.Overnight in Sorrento

Day 8 - Friday - Departure

Today your will make our own way to the airport or rail station for your onward travel.
