Day 1 - Friday - Arrival

Arrival at Rome airport. Transfer on your own to the hotel. Afternoon is at leisure to relax or explore on your own. This evening you will meet your tour host to discuss your program. You will receive information and literature about your program.Overnight in Rome.

Day 2 - Saturday - Vatican Tour

This morning you will be transferred to the Vatican for a guided visit of the Museum.Here you will visit the treasures of the Vatican museum which is home to one of the most extensive collection of art in the world. Included will be the Raphael rooms and of course Michalangelo's masterpiece the Sistine Chapel. You will continue into the imposing Basilica of Saint Peter and finish in the magnificent Saint Peter's Sqaure.After the tour you will be transferred back to your hotel by private coach. The afternoon is at leisure.This evening you will enjoy a typical dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 3 - Sunday - Ancient Rome

Morning at leisure to explore on your own. In the afternoon meet your group for your tour of the Colosseum of Ancient Rome. Inside the ancient amphitheater your guide will explain to you the history of this fascinating place with stories of gladiators and other Roman passtimes. Tonight you will enjoy a great dinner served in a traditional authentic Roman trattoria.Overnight in Rome

Day 4 - Monday - Siena and San Gimignano

In the morning, meeting with the driver and departure to the Siena. Your ride will be a scenic one as you drive past hill top towns and villages, vineyards and olive groves. Arrive in Siena, one of the most beautiful medieval cities in Tuscany. Here you will tour with your local guide, visiting the main sights including the famous Piazza del Campo, sight of the Palio horse race. Lunch at a typical farm house outside Siena will be included. You will then continue to San Gimignano where you will have free time to explore this very charming hill top town. After your visit you will continue to Florence for your overnight.

Day 5 - Tuesday - Florence

After breakfast you will meet your local guide for your walking tour of Florence. The city is known as the cradle of the Renaissance. Visit Piazza della Signoria, Palazzo Vecchio, the Dome with Giotto's bell tower, Ponte Vecchio, Santa Croce.Afternoon will be at leisure. You may want to visit the Uffizi or Accademia or take an excursion to Pisa or Lucca. This evening you will enjoy a wonderful Tuscan dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Florence.

Day 6 - Wednesday - Florence to Venice

After breakfast you will be transferred to the rail station for your high speed train journey to Venice.In Venice you will be met and transferred to your hotel. In the afternoon you will enjoy an orientation tour of the major sites of this enchanting city. This evening a typical Venetian dinner is included. After dinner you will enjoy an eveing walking tour featuring the mysteries of Venice!Overnight in Venice.

Day 7 - Thursday - Venice

Today will be a free day to explore on your own. You may choose from many optional tours.This eveing a special dinner in Venice is included.Overnight in Venice.

Day 8 - Friday - Departure

After breakfast make you own way to the airport or railway for your onward travel.
