Departure by driver/host to full day excursion following the religious itinerary
We leave to Umbertide to admire the Monastery and the Abbey of Montecorona, founded in 1008 by S. Romualdo. If we go on in the direction of Trestina and Città di Castello, we can reach the Sanctuary of Canoscio; with a diversion we reach the Abbey of Petroia and, at Morra, an Oratory with frescoes by Luca Signorelli.
At Città di Castello we can visit the Monastery of Cappuccine, of Zoccolanti, the Madonna of Belvedere and the Hermitage of Buon Riposo, a place of veneration related to San Francesco.
Continuing we don't missing Montone, a little medieval town with an interesting Museum before our return.
