The "Butteri" (cowboys), once known for their hard work and rugged lifestyle, continue to live amid the wild nature of the Maremma in Tuscany, although now they primarily seek to keep alive the traditions of a lifestyle dedicated to living from the land. On your tour you will experience firsthand the natural way of life of the "Butteri" as you follow them in their daily work.

The activities you will partake in will depend on the hour and day of your ride, and may include the cowboys rounding up Long Horn cattle or Maremma horses. There is no way of knowing how long this ride will take and once on it, there is no returning until the work is done!

The ride itself will take you down to the sea amid breathtaking views. You will likely encounter a roe-deer and fallow-deer, which are often found eating along the rider's trail.
