On this day trip you will tour one of the most beautiful areas of the Val d'Ambra, biking along a hilly path that can be covered in about 5 hours, including rest stops.

You will depart from Sogna, a charming hamlet almost forgotten by the rest of the world, where the parish church dedicated to Saint Thomas and the central fountain is surrounded by strawberry bushes and fig trees.

Your bike tour begins on a path in the direction of Badia a Ruoti, where the path opens on a panoramic route for La Cornia, under the vigil hand of a Madonna with child.

When you arrive at the hamlet of the Badia you will be able to admire its magnificent abbey, La Badia. This great monastic building once belonged to the Benedictine order before the 12th century, and has since been restored. Of interest is the fascinating fresco's, the bell tower, the cloister and the cellars with the original cells of the monks.

After a refreshing picnic, you will return along an unpaved road that leads to Molin del Santo and to the small farms of Calcinaia, Poggio dell'Olmo and Oppiarino, before returning to Sogna.
