Your tour will take you through Vallombrosa (the Shaded Valley), where the Florentines have been taking their vacations since the sixteenth century, enjoying the meadows and peaceful cool woods.

The woods were planted by the monks of the nearby abbey hundreds of years ago, and the monastery itself is also well worth a visit, where you can enjoy an unforgettable taste of one of the products in their liquor store.  Next, you will have a nice picnic lunch, sitting at the top, surrounded by picturesque scenery.

To close your day, you'll have a fascinating visit of the five hundred year old medieval Castle of Trebbio.
