Leaving Sovana from the Rocca Gate you will begin your day trip of the Archaeological Park of the Tufa Rock. You will immediately follow in the direction of the Necropolis of Follonia, following a walking path where you will discover the magical atmosphere of the place.

The path will take you to different cube tombs that go back to the 3rd century B.C. Following a path to a white street, which lies in front of the path to Follonia, you will make your way to the Necropolis of Monte Rosello, where you will first discover some funeral parlors and cube and shrine tombs along your way.

You will then make your way back to Sovana, where you will go in the direction of San Martino on the Fiora Saturnia, crossing the gallery before heading to the Mermaid Tomb. The Mermaid Tomb is part of the Necropole of Sopraripa, and similarly to the cube tombs dates back to the 3rd and 2nd century B.C.

Your walking tour will continue on to the Necropole of San Sebastiano, where you will cross two Etruscan pathways carved out of rock, known as Vie Caves, which go through a funeral parlor, to arrive finally at the oratory.
