Pompeii and Sorrento

This morning your driver will meet you for a full day excursion to fascinating Pompeii and scenic Sorrento. Pompeii was buried for hundreds of years after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. Excavations were started in the 18th century and are still being carried out today. Together with a private guide you will be transported back in time in this wonderfully preserved Roman city. Your guide will take you slowly through some of the ancient streets of Pompeii, where you can see Baths, Forums and Villas built by the prosperous Romans in the year 80 B.C. Marvel at the fabulously preserved frescoes which adorn the walls and floors of the villas. Even if your interests do not lie in history, this is an archaeological site that cannot fail to impress you.After your tour of Pompeii you will continue to charming and scenic town of Sorrento. Here you will have time to visit the beautiful city center and enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the Bay of Naples.

Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.

3) You like what you see!

Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.

4) Buon viaggio!

Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.

The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
