A private full day excursion to the fascintating region of Umbria. Perugia the provincial capital of Umbria, is located in the heartland of Italy about halfway between Rome and Florence. It is an ancient hilltop town that has preserved its wonderfully medieval character in the historic center, and is encircled by more modern areas in the lower regions. Perugia is a city rich in art, architecture and historical significance as well as a place of learning with two distinguished universities and many academies of art and music. The city's Etruscan walls, medieval churches, renaissance and baroque palaces still bare witness to its past splendor. You will have time to explore this city on your own and for a special treat, look out for one of the local sweetshops - Perugia chocolate is famous world-wide!Continue to hill town of Assisi. Exploring the town and enjoying the views are only precursors to the wonderful Basilica of St. Francis. Architects, masons and stone-cutters have given Assisi an incomparable appearance, and time seems to have come to a standstill before this beauty. The Middle Ages continue to reign supreme and the streets of Assisi are typical of medieval towns set on a hillside. The entire town center is enclosed within the city walls, a sign and guarantee of safety. These walls have witnessed various events and hold the secrets of the city's great history.

Shortly after your initial contact with our tour designers, you will receive a draft proposal based on your earlier discussions, normally within 2 business days. This proposal is a no obligation draft for your review and comments. Any additions or modifications will be implemented and a new proposal will be forwarded to you for approval.

3) You like what you see!

Upon meeting your requirements and expectations, you will be requested to send a deposit in the amount of 25% of total. Final Payment is due 45 days prior to scheduled departure date.

4) Buon viaggio!

Approximately, 2 weeks prior to departure you will receive a personalized and detailed day by day itinerary booklet and the necessary vouchers for the services to be provided, along with a general information section on the various regions of Italy.

The booklet and vouchers will include all the important information; addresses, phone & mobile numbers for all your service providers, hotels as well as the phone number of our office in Rome.
