A private full day excursion exploring the villas designed by the Renaissance architect Andrea in the Veneto region. Today you will visit two of the main Palladio Villas. First, Villa Barbaro, the most richly decorated of all Palladian villas, famous for its delightful Veronese frescoes. Second, visit Villa Emo, unencumbered by lavish decoration and surrounded by elegant gardens.Between villas you will stop and visit Basano del Grappa, a pottery town which also produces Grappa, and is built on the banks of the Brenta River. The town is attractive, its narrow streets lined by painted houses and the squares bordered by arcades. At the center is Piazza Garibaldi. The covered bridge(Ponte Coperto) is well known in Italy.
