A fascinating tour of Rome following the footsteps of the Dan Brown book "Angels and Demons"Meet your private guide and driver at your hotel. Your four hour tour will start with a visit of the Church of Santa Maria Del Popolo where you will admire the Ceraci Chapel canvasses of Caravaggio and the Chigi Chapel designed by Raffaello Sanzio. Then visit the Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria where you will see a masterpiece of the Bernini: ''The Ecstasy of St. Teresa''. Continue by car to Tiber island(panoramic view) to Piazza della Minerva, the Pantheon and Piazza Navona where you will see another work of art of the Bernini: the famous ''Fountain of the Rivers''.You will then continue to the Castel Sant'Angelo(Illumination Church) and the Passetto and last but not least, visit the largest sanctuary of Christianity, Saint Peter's Basilica, where proportions appear to have been forgotten in an amazing triumph of marble, bronze and mosaic works.The tour will end at in St. Peter's Square from which you can take a taxi back to the hotel or continue sightseeing on your own.
