You will be greeted by your English-speaking assistant outside the airport
arrivals hall upon your arrival in Milan. You will be escorted to your private car and driver for your transfer from
Milan to Lake Como. After check-in at the hotel, the rest of your first day is free for you to
relax and absorb the serene atmosphere of this stunningly beautiful resort area.

Traveling by boat (public ferry and hydrofoil), you will have the opportunity to see the lavish villas that dot the shoreline of the lake; holiday homes to the Italian nobility of the past as well as the wealthy socialites of the present.
You will stop at Bellagio for a chance to stroll down the streets of this famous lakeside retreat, and perhaps visit a local restaurant to sample the region’s typical cuisine.
In the afternoon, you will return to Como by hydrofoil for a short visit of the city. Take the funicular to Brunate where you will have an astonishing view of Lake Como. Return to the town center and end your tour at the Duomo.
You will return to Como by hydrofoil. This evening, we suggest a unique dining experience at Trattoria Navedano - Italy's first and only hothouse restaurant - where you will enjoy dinner surrounded by the colors and fragrances of an indoor garden.
Your assistant and driver will pick you up from the hotel upon check-out this
morning for your private transfer from Como to Liguria.
On the way, you will stop to visit Genoa – the Capital of Liguria and the native town of Christopher Columbus.
Genoa was once a Byzantine stronghold, rival to Venice and Pisa. The city center
is a manageable size, but it’s a bit of a steep climb from the port to the
old town with narrow medieval streets, called carrugi, punctuated by treasure-filled churches and stylish boutiques. You will enjoy
some free time to explore the town on your own, before rejoining your driver
and continuing on to Santa Margherita Ligure. Overnight at hotel.

Your local guide will meet you at the hotel this morning to take you on your
private tour of the Cinque Terre, recognized as a National Park and UNESCO protected territory as a system of
naturalistic environmental interest. The evocative type of coastal projections
going into the sea include sheer cliffs, which often overtake the verticality alternated
bays, winding paths and enchanting small beaches nestled between cliffs; creating a
profound back drop, and making this district one of the most picturesque areas of Italy.
By boat (weather permitting) or train you will visit Riomaggiore first, of Cinque Terre, Monterosso and then Portovenere. Overnight at hotel.
After breakfast today your private guide and driver will take you to Rapallo. You will go on a boat excursion (weather permitting), or by car, from Rapallo to Portofino, considered the "Pearl of the Liguria Coast".
In the afternoon return by boat to Santa Margherita, for a visit of Antiochus's Church and Villa Durazzo Centurione. Overnight at hotel.
